celebrating his birth-centennial February 15, 1907 - February 15, 2007 We invite you to celebrate the legacy of this legendary actor of Cuban heritage with a presentation on his life and work, including his last given interview in 1993. Followed by the screening of La Rosa Blanca (1953), in spanish, about the life of Cuban writer, poet and liberator, José Marti, maternal grandfather of Cesar Romero. Starring Roberto Cañedo, directed by Emilio “El Indio” Fernández, photographed by Gabriel Figueroa, adapted screenplay by Mauricio Magdaleno, shot in various locations in Cuba and Mexico.
